Robin interviews William Binney, the famous NSA whistle blower, to elicit his views on the true and dark motivations of Presidents George W Bush and Barack Obama in abusing The People’s right to privacy, as well as those of the agents who work for them.
Before Edward Snowden, the mantle of the most heroic defense of Americans’ civil liberties against the surveillance state certainly
belonged to William Binney. He resigned from his senior position at the NSA when he learned that the technology he built to monitor
terrorists had been adulterated to spy on all Americans in deliberate violation of the Constitution. And since he built it, he knows
exactly what it does.
Being such an important figure in today’s debate on civil rights, Binney has done myriad excellent interviews. Nevertheless,
Robin finds a new angle and gets Binney to share his assessment of the motivations of everyone involved in the mass abuse of the
Bill of Rights and, fascinatingly, his views on whether these political evildoers can be stopped by We The People. Given just how
bad Binney says things are right now, his positive answer may surprise people.
Binney also announces that he is helping Rand Paul in his presidential bid and crucially states his belief that Rand is the real deal –
and would stay true to the fourth amendment even if he were to win office.
William Binney is a towering figure in the fight for privacy in the USA. This is not to be missed. If you are interested in this
topic, be sure also to check out Robin’s earlier interview with Coleen Rowley, FBI whistelblower following 9-11.
